It was bad enough when he was made out of snow, now poor Frosty really doesn’t stand a chance as a Rice Krispies Treat! Your family is sure to gobble him up long before winter comes to an end. These Snowman Rice Krispies Treats are super yummy and super easy to make. This is a great no-bake, holiday food activity to do with your kids. Your kids will love helping you roll out the balls and forming these cute little snowmen (not to mention how much they will love eating him all up).

Making Your Rice Krispies Treats

First you will need to make Rice Krispies Treats. You can use any recipe you like to make the Rice Krispies Treats. I personally like using original Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treat Recipe. Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 40 regular marshmallows  OR 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 6 cups Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® cereal

Directions:

1. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

2. Add the Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.

Making Your Snowman

Once the rice krispies/marshmallow mixture has slightly cooled down (about 5 minutes), using your hands, make large, medium & small size balls for the snowman’s body.

Now you are ready to assemble the snowman….
