With the summer sun blazing down, it is hard to find activities to do with your kids. Instead of buying those sugar filled ice pops at the grocery store, why not try making your own rainbow popsicles at home? These are so super healthy and super easy to make (even a 3 year old can do it)!
You will need the following things:
– Vanilla Yogurt –
– Food Coloring –
– Popsicle Molds –
– Bowls & Spoons –
Divide the yogurt into different bowls.
Add the desired food coloring to the yogurt & mix.
Layer the colored yogurt into the mold.
Freeze for approximately 4 – 6 hours.
Viola! Healthy, Yummy Rainbow Colored Yogurt Popsicles.
Your kids think they are getting a sugary treat (but us mom’s know, they are really just eating vanilla flavored yogurt). So yummy your kids will want more…and why not, they are healthy and good for you.
Extra “Super” Tip: You can add chopped fruit to the yogurt for a more sophisticated taste.
